Hello and welcome! I'm Alex, a Catholic worship leader, liturgical musician, and singer-songwriter. I grew up just south of the Ohio River in Louisville Kentucky, and through a crazy journey with God I have found myself in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. If you had asked me 10+ years ago what I would be doing today it most certainly would not be what I am currently occupying my time with, but God is funny like that!

While I grew up Catholic, it wasn't until I got to college that I had a major conversion and started living like it. In college I discovered my voice and picked up a guitar for the first time, but music has been a part of my life since I was little. I began singing at the student Mass at St. Leo Catholic Church (the local parish near my university) and was blessed to have the role of student music director for my last 2 years of school. At the same time, during the summers I was working at a youth camp (Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp and Retreat Center) where I encountered praise and worship for the first time in the Catholic world. My final summer on staff at Gasper River I was the music lead, which had me leading music and worship pretty much every day.

Following my college studies, I spent a year in NW Indiana as an environmental educator and assisted with music at a local parish. During that year the Lord asked me to serve His church as a full-time missionary and with that I found myself searching google for opportunities to make that happen. Thus I found myself working for a college campus ministry (Saint Paul's Outreach [SPO]) at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus for 2 years. During my time with SPO I was given the role, which I have dubbed, of music ministry coordinator. In that role I was leading a small team of student musicians in learning the art of worship leading and how to provide music for various events SPO hosted. I was also asked to take the reins of directing one of the 4 Masses that took place at the local Newman Center Parish (St. Lawrence).

Now I find myself still in the Twin Cities area serving the Lord and His Church, just under a different title. Through the years I have come to know the deep, personal, and healing love of Jesus Christ and seek to share that love with others, particularly through the gift of music and worship.
